I've tried a handful of brands and these are my favorite. They're a little longer than perfect, but not enough to take away a star. They roll up a little in the legs with how long they are. However, these are so well made — all the seams are in the right spot, things are all symmetrical, the hem is perfect, and the waistband, aahhhh, the waistband isn't too tight. So many other brands have stretchy shorts and then tight waistbands, but not these. These have such a great balance of hug and stretch. This was my first pair along with a pair of bikinis, and I will definitely be ordering more.
My wife is a Doctor and typically wears a thong with scrubs so she doesnt have panty lines and said these were like a comfy hug all day and wants to get some more.
Hemp is the way to go! I only try to wear organic or natural fibers in the underwear department, so when I heard of these hemp undies, I had to try them. I ordered a pair of the boy short women's undies and as soon as I put them on, I was hooked! These underwear are comfortable, soft, and so wonderful. I am going to have to order like 10 more pair. I just love the way they feel on and I love how they are more sustainable, breathable, and nicer than bamboo . Thanks WAMA! Life = changed
Am quite happy with these underwear! They don't roll up my legs at the bottom, and I love that they are trying to be more sustainable. The sizing chart recommendations were accurate for me as well.
i really like the feel and quality of my new wama underwear but the fit was just not quite there. they are cut very square with no shaping seams to allow for curvier bodies. once on, they end up being way too low in the back and way too high in the front. i also wish there was an option for afab bodies with a longer inseam, more like 5 inches. the breathability and softness of the fabric was everything i've been looking for though! hoping they will hold up well to washing over time.
I was tired of wedgies and underwear lines. It was really hard to find womens boy shorts that were a little longer on the leg and made with good material. I was super excited about these. I’ve ordered twice and have about 6 pairs. Unfortunately none of them have lasted more than a year, which is unfortunate considering I’ve never had this problem with underwear before. They get super thin in the crotch area and a hole forms. There needs to be more fabric there or something. I’m sad I’ve spent so much on these to just have to throw them out now. Other than this problem, I’ve loved them and I had switched them to my everyday underwear. Now I’m settling for the boy shorts from Pact. I’d rather be wearing Wama but I can’t justify having to keep buying more underwear when they don’t last very long.
I have been making environmental conscious purchases for a while now and it’s been a hit or miss with undies so I’ve always resorted back to My Calvin’s. NOT ANY MORE!!! I absolutely love my Wamas from the fit to the material I am hooked!
I purchased these because I live in a tropical climate and do a lot of yardwork. My cotton undies always end up sweaty and uncomfortable, so I wanted something that would wick moisture and feel less icky. I'm happy to report that these do the trick! My only complaint is that they run small. I'm 5'3" and 120 (with plenty of junk in my trunk) and I got S, as usual, and find they give a little less coverage than I'd like.
At 5'4, 170lbs, this mama carries most of her weight in her butt and thighs. I usually wear a size 12 pant and opted for a size XL Boy Short. This is my first experience with a boy short and I was thrilled with the result. The undies are comfortable, though slightly scratchier than straight cotton, and the waist line doesn't cut in. So much thinner and breathable than cotton, though. I'm looking forward to buying more and making these my new faves. Hoping more colors come available soon!
