So first of all, just get the next size up from whatever your current presumption is. If you don’t get the right size, which you would if you choose next size up, they’re going to send them to you. Many will take advantage of this, as I did, but they’ve now earned my business and I’m ready to buy a set.
I’ve worn Patagonia boxers for at least two decades. I might even have one of those pairs in rotation still but more likely they’ve been replaced by Patagonia when the seams began to fail. It’s the only kind I have, and the newest are at least a decade old.
So that’s what I’m accustomed to longevity-wise. I really don’t like poly, it stinks and I can’t tolerate it anywhere but the boxers for whatever reason. Hemp and cotton should be an improvement. They certainly wear well, but if you have an athletic rear-end, they wear a little more like hybrid boxers/boxer briefs.
I was horrified to need XXL, at 5’11 and 220, after gaining a literal COVID 19. Shedding those 19 lbs so we’ll see if they get slightly roomier.
As a lifelong farmer involved in global ag markets, ag policy, ag conservation, etc, I can say that hemp really does contribute to a more sustainable agriculture. Buying hemp products will help drive demand, and fund the development of a domestic hemp supply chain.
Big fan of WAMA, look forward giving them my very episodic underwear business ;)
