I am so pleased with this underwear!!! They are incredibly comfortable, soft and just the right amount of stretchy. I got the boxer briefs, and I love them so much. I was hesitant at first because the price seemed a little high, but I am committed to supporting hemp for clothing (as well as a myriad of other things), and I’m so glad I placed that order! Pay attention to the sizing, I wear size L in other brands, but the Wama XL is the perfect size for me. My only complaint is that when I went back to order more, they were sold out of my size! That’s ok, I’m glad they are selling. I will check back another time. These are now the only underwear I ever want to wear.
Very happy with my underwear. Fit great and feel good! It's important to me to wear all natural fibers especially in underwear. So glad I found WAMA.
After reading the book Fatal Conveniences, which focuses on the dangers of all sorts of synthetic consumer products, I went searching for alternatives for undergarments and I found Wama. I'm glad I did! Before a wash, the fit was the same as my other brands. Yet to be seen how much they might shrink, but so far I'm a fan.
So happy to have finally found a bra that is about as natural as you can get being only 3% spandex and it's actually reasonably priced. As a 36D it's tough to find bralettes that are supportive but this one works! It fits true to size and is great for every day wear. I will be purchasing more in different colors. My only complaint/negative comment is: I do wish they had a nude option with a nude band.
I do hard physical work outside in all weather, often interacting with fire so I need to wear all natural fibers. These are my favorite underwear to do that work in. They are comfortable and don't ride up under my work pants, and they are also moisture wicking and breathable so at the end of a sweaty day I'm not totally drenched. They aren't the softest right out of the package but after a few washings they soften up, and I don't find the texture of the fabric to be uncomfortable. I always wash on cold and line dry to make sure they last as long as possible. The legs do sometimes get bunched up under skinny jeans, but I just use my old standby Pact organic boyshorts for that as they are cut much shorter.
Sometimes hemp can be scratchy, but these are soft and fit just right.
I have a "quite large" chest, and the cups and band size are spot on, which is rare for me to find. However, the straps are miles too long and will need to be adjusted beyond their current shortest length in order to achieve a correct fit. Color, texture/feel of the fabric are all great! I'm going to get crafty with the straps myself, but would love to see a change in that moving forward.
I usually wear cotton underwear, but I like this even better!
The material is very light and almost like you aren't wearing anything at all.
The sizes are very forgiving as the fabric is quite stretchy.
I say give it a try!
More comfortable than I imagined.
They are sooooo soft, but I don't like how the site recommends for you to size up. I tried them on and they fit well, but after you wash and wear them for a few hours they stratch so much they are rather loose and uncomfortable. I suggest you buy your regular size or just skip as a whole, they are pretty expensive to not be happy with.
I love the bikini cut panties. They fit soo well in all places, comfy, breathable, soft
This is my go to every day bra now. Incredibly comfortable and supportive as long as you play with the strap tightness to get the fit right. I'm a 36D and the large fits just perfectly. Just wish there was an easier and less expensive way to buy them in Canada as the duties and taxes with horrific admin fees that we get dinged for are gross. Not Wamas fault, but we need either a retailer here or a better international shipping/brokerage service or something.
With all the new information becoming available about forever chemicals in traditional bras made from materials like polyester, I went seeking a bra made with natural materials. I am very glad I found WAMA! Their bras are very comfortable, and while they provide only light support, they are perfect for everyday wear and low-impact exercise. My only critique would be the length of the straps; they seem to stretch out fairly easily, resulting in the bra becoming less supportive. I would prefer that the straps were shorter so that the bra offered more support.
Super comfortable, great quality. Would recommend!
I’ve only worn them a few times, but I do really like them. They are not too low rise, which I like. I love the natural, sustainable fabric. I’ve been air drying them in hopes they last as long as possible.
I’m 5’6” and 125 lbs — a medium fits me well.
I love the softness. I ordered a large as I am typically in between sizes. I probably should have ordered a XL as we “fall out” If you are in between sizes or bigger chested, I recommend sizing up one size. Other than that, LOVE IT.
I got these because I lobe my bamboo underwear and someone let me know these are more sustainable, which means a lot to me. Those ones are also super comfortable and fit very well; these I wore once or twice and hid in the back of my drawer for a few months before trying again because they just aren’t comfortable. The band digs in and the fabric isn't very soft. I’ve been a S in every other brand I’ve ever tried and the S and M in these just don’t fit right. Not a fan.
The Wama men’s boxer briefs feel great and look good too. For the price, they should do just that. Won’t be able to fully justify the $25 per pair price until they prove they will last. Runs a bit small overall. Would prefer a bit longer that 6” as well, although they don’t ride up, which would have been a deal breaker.
I wore them for the first time today. I really loved the Boxer Briefs, so I bought some Trunks. They are worth paying more for, I had been using Viscose for quite a while. I believe in Hemp Underwear.
This is my first time buying underwear made out of anything other than cotton. I have to say, I'm quite satisfied with the hemp underwear. It's comfortable and fits well.
No complaints, will definitely buy more.
I had been looking for USA produced hemp products for some time. I was so happy to find these & was even happier to receive them. The fit is snug & stays that way. The price is reasonable considering the quality. I will definitely be purchasing more. Thanks for letting us enjoy HEMP from the bottom up!
I needed to replace my sports bras and wanted something not entirely made of plastic and hemp seemed like a good option. The bralettes are incredibly comfortable and I am buying more. They seem to dry pretty fast when they do get sweaty and don't hold onto stink as much as the usual sports bras. I tend to only wear bras when doing physical activity and don't need a lot of supoort so my review isn't applicable to larger sized folks.
I've never worn more comfortable underwear, having purchased pairs far cheaper and being gifted pairs far more expensive. If you tend to "run warm" in the nether regions, like myself, these are the only underwear that consistently keep me cool.
Bought three pairs on final sale. Two were the bikini style which are fine. But I should have listened to some of the reviews that said the front was too big on these hipsters! Ugh waste of money bc now I won’t wear bc they don’t fit right. Too big and baggy in the front and not much coverage in the back…. Hmmm thought maybe I can wear with leggings but there is just too much material and still looks bulky. I don’t even think these would be comfortable to sleep in. Maybe I didn't I understand how these fit. I guess lesson learned.
